Solar Panels Are Paying Off!

My last electric bill was low, only $38.80. I knew this billing period that I'd generated more electricity than we'd used. It looks like the money I made by generating more than I used was applied to this bill. I was told that it would accrue for a year and then I'd get a check. Maybe that only happens if I don't owe anything at all, including the distribution and tax charges. Those charges were $9.86 and I generated $1.49 in excess of what we used. So my bill ended up being only $8.37. I'll take that! This next month, I should generate enough to cover even the distribution and tax charges, so I'm curious to see what my next bill looks like. Never been so excited to get an electric bill!
